Welcome to our virtual, book club! Since yoga is about stretching the mind as well as the body, I figured a book club would be a great way for people to connect and share thoughts about a variety of different material.
The books will vary and, although no one loves a psychological thriller more than me, you won’t find those here! The purpose of this club is to expand the conscious mind! Think books centered around personal growth, philosophy, creativity, poetry, yoga, wisdom… you see where I’m going.
Each month (or so, depending on the length of the book) we will select a book to read. We will the meet virtually over zoom and I will direct the conversation with guided questions that will help us “digest” the material. Obviously, participation is completely voluntary, if you have questions or thoughts you want to share that’s great, but if you’re more of a listener, that’s totally fine too!
I’m a big fan of making even small things “events”, so why not schedule this with a friend, pour a glass of wine, (or coffee for our morning meetings!) order some food and treat yourself to an hour of discussion and exercise for the mind!
